The most peaceful, silent, refreshing, worry-free, and most assuring moments of our life are when we feel the presence of the Trinity in our abode. Their presence brings assurance to our faith that it is not in vain. It brings comfort and love; it’s a time when we know we are never alone, but the Lord our God abides with us. It’s also so refreshing and comforting to know that they are not visiting us; they are staying with us, and it isn’t a short-time stay. It’s a forever stay. Knowing you were never alone and will never be, even when you thought you were. Knowing they are there with you to guide you, to lead you, to help you, to comfort you, fellowship with you, and strengthen you.
John 14:23
“If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”
They know there are a lot of trials in this world because the devil has turned it upside down, but they are there with you to assure you that they will guide you through this world. They will be there with you and never leave you.
Matthew 28:20
“Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”
They see everything, every struggle, every pain, every laugh, every joy, every persecution, every smile, and they care about all your affairs. When you pray, don’t look up; look beside you. That’s where the Lord is. He was never away, never far. He didn’t forsake you. Can a mother forget her nursing child? Even if they do, the Lord will never.
Isaiah 49:15
“Can a woman forget her sucking child… yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.”
His comfort is forever, and I want to assure you that He is still there and making plans for you. He knows what you need, and He will manifest in due time. He brings all things together at their season, and He doesn’t miss, even if man should miss, the Lord doesn’t.
Let’s make them (the Father and the Son) feel at home with our character toward others. Let it be filled with love, peace, forgiveness, encouraging words, knowing we are siblings, we have the same Father, and we are not in competition. This is the atmosphere that makes them much more comfortable, and they can bring goodness and joy into such a life.
Our life is not determined by what we have or receive, but our greatest portion is the hosting of the Trinity, which is greater than the hosting of any king or ruler in all the world combined. By continuously hosting them and making them feel at home in fellowship, their goodness and love will never depart from us.
