“Being full” is the result of being continuously filled, signifying the complete filling of every part of a believer: body, organs, mind, spirit, soul, heart, words, thoughts, and actions by the Holy Spirit. Often times, we feel drained due to the pressures, worries, and trials of our environment and the world around us. However, when we seek the lord with the whole of our heart and fellowship with him, we will be refilled once again, regain our strength and be restored.
2 Corinthians 4:16
“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.”
Partial occupancy signifies that only some sections were released willingly to the Holy Spirit, while others were not. Peter had the Holy Spirit when Jesus said, “Receive the Holy Spirit” in John 20:22:
“And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.”
However, he later denied Jesus because he wasn’t yet full of the Holy Spirit. His mouth was not yet full of the Holy Spirit, and his heart was still fearful. But on the day of Pentecost, he was filled and became full of the Holy Spirit, and everything that held him back broke loose.
Ephesians 3:16
“That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;”
When one is full of the Holy Spirit, every unhealed section heals. When the Holy Spirit occupies a section, He brings life along. And when one is filled and full, every section will be filled with life and power.
What makes the Holy Spirit fill a new section is our continuous surrender to Him. If our mind is filled with thoughts that are of God, the Holy Spirit will influence and fill it. If our heart is filled with thoughts that are of the world, it will repel the Holy Spirit.
Our heart is directly related to our words. If our heart is fearful, so also our words shall be. If our heart is filled with the Holy Spirit, our words will show it.
Whosoever you continuously yield to owns and controls you.
