“Just as Jesus took on a servant’s spirit to serve His Father, we too are meant to serve God and not the other way around. We cannot command God to do our bidding; instead, we must submit ourselves to His will. We cannot manipulate Him through any means or sacrifice to get what we want; we can only pray and wait for Him to send His ministering servants to come to our aid. God is a King, and many believers act like spoiled children, treating Him as if they are His Lord. Yet, He is loving and does not judge them by their immaturity. Serve God with a servant’s heart, respect and kneel before Him, and take His things very seriously, as if you are working in a royal palace.”
