By and By

Galatians 6:2 – “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

We’ll understand it all, by and by. To be like Christ is to have the compassion He has, standing with others in their distress, lack, shame, and pain; those who are neglected; those who have no one to turn to, to share their pain, and to love them. Never for the purpose of being seen or acknowledged, but to be felt by others. Rewarded or not, to be like Jesus is never about the reward. Love for those around you is the true light of Jesus. No matter how little it may seem, it can brighten the world. Don’t distance yourself because of the shame of others, their trials, or pain. There is always something you can do to make their burdens lighter, encouragement, comfort, sharing of resources, standing up for them, and sharing their burdens. Let the love of God shine through your heart to heal others. God can surely make that little bread abundant if only you are willing to share it with the thousands. And yes, it can surely feed thousands if you give it to Jesus by sharing with others. We’ll understand it all by and by.
