Jeremiah 30:17 – For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
The picture isn’t the same as what was revealed in the eyes of men. Just as Lazarus, a life that was subjected to trials, pain, and brokenness but yet glorified in the eyes of the Lord. Obeying the Lord is greater than ridicule, following God’s instructions than nakedness.
In the kingdom, the intensity of one’s humiliation results in the same intensity as one’s exaltation; the lower the world brings you, the higher the Lord crowns you.
Luke 14:11: “For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.”
Strip me naked a thousand times for the Lord, I shall gladly endure. For no pain lacks an expiration date, and for each nakedness, a royal robe.
A lifetime to do what is right, following and obeying God’s instructions, no matter the cost. Jesus endured his season of nakedness, humiliation, shame, and burden. He carried his cross to glorify the Father and His Father glorified him in return.
Hebrews 12:2: “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
The Lord is faithful and He will not overlook your sacrifices and faithfulness but will surely grant you the reward in due season.
A short time to feel pain but an eternal time of stepping into God’s glory. For every pain, a jewel stone added to the crown, a wonder to behold.
2 Corinthians 4:17: “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”
We have such a short time to serve the Lord, to live on the earth, but should we waste our precious time in regrets, sorrow, or pain? No! Serve the Lord with all you have, hold nothing back! The time is too short to waste on self-image, break it down yourself if you have to, but raise up the image of Jesus.
Colossians 3:2-3: “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”
