Using the key of thanksgiving to open God’s courtroom
The key to entering into God’s presence is the sound of praises and never the sound of tears. Praising God for the things we have more than the things we do not have is called gratitude. This world will pass away along with all its sorrows no matter your portion; but holding up and thanking God for His salvation and promises is an everlasting thanksgiving. Coming to God with gladness, even in the midst of trials, is faith, because God knows your trials. When He sees you happy and joyful in His presence, trusting Him with all your heart, He will surely grant your requests.
Psalm 100:4 – “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
In His presence, there is fullness of joy and strength to fellowship. Engage His gate with thanksgiving, open and enter His court with the key of praises, and you will not be tired, stressed, or unhappy to continue in His presence. The throne of the Father is never a place for tears but a place for worship, and every creation that stands before Him must worship Him. The saints worship Him day and night, and so do the angels, with happiness, joy, and gladness.
A child of a victorious king should never enter his courtroom with a gloomy face of defeat, but with hope and faith, which yield comfort, gladness, and happiness.
Just because you start your prayer does not mean you have entered. That’s why most people quit praying a few minutes after starting. When prayer seems hard, boring, stressful, and tiring to start or to continue, it may be that you are still outside God’s courtyard and haven’t entered.
An atmosphere with no tension but love all around: no bitterness, no ego, no thought of tomorrow, just happiness, not because of what we have or what we’ve received, but because of the joy of His presence, His salvation, and the joy of the Lord erupting in our hearts. It will overflow so much that God will grant any of your requests with haste.
