“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”
— Matthew 5:14
A light is proven to be effective when it is placed in the darkness and shines. A light’s purpose is never achieved if it is placed under a bright sun. Many people are depressed because of their surroundings, the circumstances, and their dark clouds of an uncertain future or unsolvable problems. They cry in pain when talking to the Father, and their prayer is not about fellowship with Him but about reporting their pain and problems. Yes, you are in the midst of darkness as long as you are in the world. You can’t escape trials or tribulations unless you leave this world. That is why you are referred to as the children of light because this world is full of darkness. You are meant to shine in the midst of your darkness, no matter how impossible it seems.
Jesus says to you:
“It’s just for a little while longer, my child. You must shine. I will be the core within your light that shines out from you. You will reflect my power, and I will shine through and in you. I am in you, and you are in me. You must shine in that darkness; do not allow the darkness to overshadow you. It is only bluffing; it can’t overwhelm you. With greater darkness comes a need for greater light; therefore, you must shine even more, especially in the midst of your darkness. Show others the light by shining. Show others the core strength within by shining even more. Do not hide it; shine it and use it for my glory. I love you, my child, and I am the source of your current; always stay connected to me.”
