You are not a coincidence; you are here for a mission. Do you know why many marine spirits come on land to carry out their evil missions and die afterward when they are through? Many Christians are not aware that they have a mission to fulfill before their set time. Do you think that as a believer, life is just a normal process? Go to school, graduate, get a job, get married, have kids and grandkids, and wait for death? Neither is it wrong nor unnecessary to achieve all this (for survival and family purposes); but just as Paul, you must know that your mission goes far beyond what is listed above. Your mission is to prepare yourself and as many people as possible for eternity.
“The world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” (1 John 2:17)
Eternity is where real life begins; it’s where the main joy, achievements, and pleasures lie. Someone asked why he was born. The reason is for you to know the Lord, serve him, and to enter into eternity with him. Life is not about focusing so much on things that will perish in a few years or things that will be made void when the rapture comes.
An athlete trains and prepares hard for just one race that will change his life. Everything he does, the food he eats, the consistency he maintains, everything is all to win one single race.
Are you running a rat race or a heavenly race? One is profitable and one is not. Yes, the heavenly race is profitable both in this life and the life to come.
Psalm 37:25 – “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.”
I have never seen anyone who submits fully to the leadership of the Holy Spirit and begs for bread. The Holy Spirit will lead him and provide for his needs. Therefore, what is stopping you from the heavenly race when God will also take care of you in this world?
