It’s time

It’s time to charge on!

God promised the children of Israel the land of Canaan, but little did they know they would have to fight to inherit their inheritance. Enemies, neighbors, and strangers had occupied many of God’s people’s inheritances, and they must fight to get them back and to occupy. Many places were left unoccupied by the Israelites when they stopped fighting.

Joshua 13:1-6: “When Joshua had grown old, the Lord said to him, ‘You are now very old, and there are still very large areas of land to be taken over.

God has promised victory for every battle, but there needs to be a battle for a victory to take place. Many of life’s battles are due to unconquered foes, strangers, and giants that have occupied one’s inheritance. Many inheritances have been blocked by the wall of Jericho and protected by giants, preventing God’s people from moving on. Seas of circumstances may stand in front of God’s people, preventing them from moving on. But God has the power to part that sea, to make all walls fall, and to grant us victory in all our battles when we trust in Him and when we fight. Warriors are not made without wars; victors are known by victories. The word of God is our weapon; Jesus is our weapon— the authority, the word, the blood, the name, in dominion, in deeds, and in obedience to God. He has given us an undefeatable weapon; it’s up to us to use it in our battles and acquire victory.
