Drained Virtues

The sin of immorality is a sin of destruction and emptiness. It brings no good fruits other than guilt, pain, loss of dignity, emptiness, failure, rejection, unworthiness, insufficiency, feeling unlovable, hopelessness, and many more. It plants an evil fruit of death into the lives of people; the enemy drains them until what is left to drain is their precious lives. Only Jesus can set you free from the bondage of immorality; no self-discipline or self-control techniques can. Saying “No” to the devil now is crucial; if not, you will be his slave forever. Lust doesn’t respect marriage vows. Without avoiding and conquering it, lust is a tool of destruction that bears fruit. It breaks anything it touches: the mind, the heart, the faith, the home, the health, the body, the glory, the fire, the brain, the vow. Without surrendering to the Lord to avoid and overcome, the enemy will have the upper hand.

The Virtues drained by Lust are:

Self-control, Love, forgiveness, purity, integrity, commitment, dignity, faith, Joy, Strength, diligence, wisdom, peace, justification, discernment, gratitude, responsibility, discipline, confidence, glory, perseverance and sense of direction.

How to be free:

Note: The key to overcoming is not to fight but to ignore and avoid it in mind, thoughts, sight, and heart by changing your focus.

  1. Confess it – to God and to man.
  2. Don’t fight your thoughts; instead, build a barrier for them. Go for a baptism; do it again if you have done it once. Confess your sins when asked.
  3. Make that day your day of repentance, and make a covenant with God not to go back again.
  4. Scripture feeding & Personal fellowship…using every means to feed on godly contents. Godly videos, books, music, cartoons, illustrations, writing, posts, dreams, revelations from others (be discerning), preachings, teachings… just keep feeding.
  5. Forgive yourself and love yourself.
  6. Start your healing process with the Holy Spirit.
  7. Avoid idleness.
  8. Avoid those movies, games, and songs that stir the flesh-all worldly content.
  9. Feed on Godly content; your spirit needs good food.
  10. Avoid social media; if you use it, follow only godly posts and accounts.
  11. Forgive others; the enemy uses heartache as a key to your heart.
  12. Learn to seek God at every opportunity.
  13. You are a new creation now; you can’t do the old things anymore.
  14. Don’t listen to the enemy. You have power now, and he can’t force you.
  15. Always remember that you have set a cross-line with your baptism.
  16. Don’t be afraid; you won’t fall. Follow Jesus and keep following.
  17. Connect with elderly people who can monitor you.
  18. Yes, you are strong, but flee from even the slightest temptation. Don’t test your strength.
  19. Learn to forget temptations.
  20. Learn to remember scriptures.
  21. Dismiss dreams of lust or temptation; pray and let them go.
  22. Purify your mind by intentionally focusing on other things when temptations come.
  23. Listen to the Holy Spirit as you start your process; He knows you, and He will help and guide you.

God bless you, in Jesus’ name.
